Excerpt from Military Hygiene and Sanitation This short treatise on Military Hygiene and Sanitation is founded on the lectures delivered by me while Professor of Hygiene at the Royal Army Medical College. I have not attempted to deal in detail with all the problems of hygiene, and in particular I have omitted - as, for instance, in the question of house drainage - those which are liberally treated in the ordinary textbooks.
