Supernatural beings from Slovenian myth and folktales
Focusing on Slovenian mythology the book contains a review of Slovenian mythological, historical, and narrative material. Over 150 supernatural beings are presented, both lexically and according to the role that they have in Slovenian folklore. They are classified by type, characteristic, features, and by the message conveyed in their motifs and contents. The material has been analysed in the context of European and some non-European mythological concepts, and the author deals with theory and interpretations as well as the conclusions of domestic and foreign researchers. The book forms new starting points and a classification of supernatural beings within a frame of a number of sources, some of which have been published for the first time in this book.

Knjiga Mordvinian Mythology (Mordovinijska mitologija) je prva enciklopedična predstavitev mitoloških konceptov Mordvincev, ugrofinskega naroda, ki živi na ozemlju Ruske federacije. V uvodnem delu so predstavljeni Mordvinci kot narod, njihov položaj in kultura, posebej še kozmološke predstave, izražene v mitih, ritualih in jeziku, ter literatura o mordvinijski mitologiji. Osrednji del sestavljajo enciklopedični članki.

Gašper Križnik (1848–1904) in njegov čas
V knjigi je predstavljen Gašper Križnik, ki velja za enega najpomembnejših zbiralcev slovenske slovstvene folklore. Nastala je kot rezultat mednarodnega interdisciplinarnega posvetovanja ob 100. obletnici njegove smrti, zbornik pa je izšel ob 160-letnici njegovega rojstva. Vsebuje sedem poglavij, v katerih strokovnjaki iz zgodovinopisja, etnologije, jezikoslovja, slovstvene folkloristike, glasbene folkloristike omogočajo celovit vpogled v vsestransko zbirateljsko dejavnost najprej čevljarja in nato trgovca Gašperja Križnika.
Charms and Charming
In the book are presented studies of 18 renowned researchers focussing on the verbal aspects of everyday magic, placing in the centre the richest and most poetic manifestation of verbal magic – the charm or incantatio. Incantations are in Europe well spread folklore genre, which contain very old magical elemrnts. The book covers wide spectrum of regions, from United Kingdom to Russia and Iran, and includes also Slovenia. Osvetlili so jih strokovnjaki različnih disciplin, ki jih povezuje temeljno semiotično stališče o tekstu kot kompleksnem znaku, katerega funkciji sta reprezentiranje resničnosti in pragmatično umeščanje govorečega/spoznavajočega subjekta v to resničnost.
