Proceedings of the First Conference of Psychology and Flourishing Humanity (PFH 2022)
This is an open access book. This Flourishing Humanity conference is hosted annually in September, and provides a number of research results in relation to the leading scholarly topics on social science and humanities. The conference seeks leading themes of a variety of interdisciplinary specialties, which bridges scholars’ discussions to present their papers and converse on the theme of flourishing humanity. This event of flourishing humanity is designed in the focus on life satisfaction, prosperity, wholeness, adaptiveness, authenticity, life measurement, and autonomy. The conference was held in 22 - 23 September 2022 in Malang, Indonesia in the form of hybrid, which presents keynote speakers, plenary sessions and invited lecturers in parallel sessions. All participants will have a virtual access to join the conference and all authors will have opportunities to present their work either the virtual or on-site mode.

The 6th Asia Pasific Education and Science Conference (AECON ) 2020 was conducted on 19-20 December 2020, at Universitas Muhammadiyah Purwokerto, Purwokerto, Indonesia. The Theme of AECON 2020 is Empowering Human Development Through Science and Education. The goals of AECON 2020 is to establish a paradigm that emphasizes on the development of integrated education and science though the integration of different life skills in order to improve the quality of human development in education and science around Asia Pacific nations, particularly Indonesia.

The Covid-19 pandemic has changed our activities, like teaching, researching, and socializing. We are confused because we haven’t experienced before. However, as Earth's smartest inhabitants, we can adapt new ways to survive the pandemic without losing enthusiasm. Therefore, even in pandemic conditions, we can still have scientific discussions, even virtually. The main theme of this symposium is "Reinforcement of the Sustainable Development Goals Post Pandemic" as a part of the masterplan of United Nations for sustainable development goals in 2030. This symposium is attended by 348 presenters from Indonesia, Malaysia, UK, Scotland, Thailand, Taiwan, Tanzania and Timor Leste which published 202 papers. Furthermore, we are delighted to introduce the proceedings of the 2nd Borobudur Symposium Borobudur on Humanities and Social Sciences 2020 (2nd BIS-HSS 2020). We hope our later discussion may result transfer of experiences and research findings from participants to others and from keynote speakers to participants. Also, we hope this event can create further research network.

The Faculty of Education and Teaching Institut Agama Islam Negeri (IAIN) Bukittinggi, West Sumatera Indonesia, organized the 2nd International Conference on Education (BICED 2020) on 14-15 September 2020 in Bukittinggi, West Sumatera, Indonesia. The number of participants who joined the zoom room was recorded at 736 participants. 224 participants attended the conference via the zoom application and 539 participants via YouTube Channel. Pemikiran Islam Indonesia menghadapi tantangan yang berbeda dari era zaman Nurcholish Madjid, Harun Nasution, M. Dawam Rahardjo, Abdurrahman Wahid, Kuntowijoyo, Djohan Effendi atau Jalaluddin Rakhmat. Hal ini bisa diamati dari semakin redupnya pemikiran Islam di Indonesia saat ini. Terdapat banyak kritik dan gagasan baru yang menganggap pemikiran Islam telah “kabur”, atau tidak jelas dan spekulatif, bahkan era sekarang dianggap bukan lagi era agama, tapi telah memasuki era sains. Apakah pemikiran Islam masih relevan? Nurcholish Madjid adalah orang yang gelisah dengan tantangan terhadap pemikiran Islam pada tahun 1970-an. Sejak itu, ia terus mengembangkan pemikiran Islam sampai akhir hayatnya di tahun 2005. Kini banyak penerusnya juga mengalami kegelisahan; sebuah kegelisahan yang sama, namun dengan tantangan berbeda. Oleh karena itu, program beasiswa “Kader Pemikir Islam Indonesia” (Mencari Penerus Cak Nur) lahir sebagai langkah kaderisasi untuk membumikan kembali Pemikiran Islam Indonesia di masa depan.
