Holder Family Biographical and Historical Records and Genealogy of Daniel Holder, 1758-1843 of Fauquier & Pittsylvania Counties, Virginia and Union County, South Carolina
Family history and genealogical information about the descendants of Daniel Holder who was born ca. 1758 in Prince William Co., Virginia. He was the son of Davis Holder and Susanna (surname unknown). Daniel married Ruth Welborn ca. 1787 in Randolph Co., North Carolina. They lived in Union Co., South Carolina and were the parents of two sons and six daughters. Descendants lived primarily in South Carolina.
The Tucker Band
Robert Tucker was born about 1676 in Charles City County, Virginia. In 1698 he married Elizabeth Parham. In 1719 or 1720 he married Martha (Epps?) and settled on land in Amelia, County, Virginia where he died in 1750. Descendants and relatives lived in Virginia, Georgia, South Carolina, Alabama and elsewhere.
The Spencers of Upper Randolph County, North Carolina
Benjamin S. Spencer moved from Pennsylvania to Randolph County, North Carolina, and married Peggy (Margaret) Cox. Isaac Spencer (1772- 1846), their son and a Quaker, married twice and lived in Randolph County, North Carolina. Descendants lived in North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Maryland, South Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, Texas and elsewhere.
