Esta obra é resultado de estudos e discussões ocorridas no grupo de pesquisa Histórias de Formação de Professores que Ensinam Matemática (Hifopem) nos doze anos de sua existência. O foco é a nossa constituição como pesquisadores narrativos a partir da participação no grupo. A coletânea consta de 16 capítulos e um capítulo final no qual elaboramos uma síntese reflexiva a partir dos textos produzidos, apontando indícios das potencialidades da colaboração e dos caminhos metodológicos por nós adotados para os modos de produzir pesquisas (com) narrativas.

Since communism collapsed we have witnessed the emergence of numerous political actors - neopopulists, neoliberals, fundamentalists, nationalists, and others - who share one ideological leitmotif: their deep contempt for modern democratic politics.
