In Situ Characterization and Modelling of Drying Dynamics for Scalable Printing of Hybrid Perovskite Photovoltaics
Hybrid perovskite photovoltaics could play a vital role in future’s renewable energy production. However, there are still severe challenges when scaling the technology. In this work, perovskite solution films drying in laminar and slot-jet air flows are investigated extensively by optical in situ characterization. The main results are a quantitative model of perovskite drying dynamics and a novel in situ imaging technique – yielding valuable predictions for large-scale perovskite fabrication.

This is to summarise current new developments in public transport and, with the concept of public mobility, to outline the concrete idea of a sustainable public transport system. In addition to the new mobility services and the political and legal framework conditions, new instruments are presented with which public mobility can be actively shaped in the future. The concept of public mobility ties in with the claim of public transport and shows how mobility can be offered to all citizens in an economically efficient, ecologically compatible and socially just manner under the changed social framework conditions.
Climate Cultures in Europe and North America

Competing Climate Cultures in Germany
Despite frequent protests and abounding discussions about the subject, climate action measures to counter human-made climate change have so far remained largely ineffective. By identifying profound climate-cultural differences, Sarah Kessler offers an explanation to this issue and shows that conventional assumptions of an implicit consensus on the need to prioritise climate action should be reconsidered. She uncovers climate-cultural variations in (implicit and explicit) denial of climate change and thus challenges existing approaches that treat the German public as a unified entity waiting to be activated by the right kind of rationally convincing information.

Persuasion unter Komplexitätsbedingungen
Tobias Schmohl befasst sich anhand einer grundlagentheoretisch-konzeptuellen Analyse mit dem rhetorischen Steuerungsbegriff, auf dem das klassische fundamentalrhetorische Persuasionsparadigma aufbaut. Er arbeitet zunächst die Basisprämissen heraus, die für dieses Konzept konstitutiv sind, um den eingeschränkten Geltungsbereich der traditionellen Persuasionsvorstellungen sowie die konzeptionellen Limitationen der implizierten Steuerungskonzeption angesichts kommunikativer Komplexitätsbedingungen aufzuzeigen. Vor dem Hintergrund der autopoietischen Systemtheorie werden Anschlussstellen für eine konzeptionelle Erweiterung des rhetorischen Steuerungskonzepts identifiziert und Orientierungshypothesen für eine programmatische Neuformulierung der rhetorischen Persuasionskategorie mit Blick auf Kommunikationssettings der modernen Gesellschaft abgeleitet.
