Esta coedición de 2016 en comparación con las precedentes es especialmente significativa, ya que conmemora los veinticinco años de creación del Instituto Cervantes. Por ello sus doce patronos y la totalidad de los directores del Instituto dan su visión de lo que su trayectoria ha supuesto para la difusión internacional de la lengua española, pero también de lo que debe ser en el futuro.
