Nyeri Intraoral
Pada praktik kedokteran gigi sehari-hari, mayoritas dari keluhan yang diderita pasien adalah nyeri. Nyeri orofasial dapat berasal dari odontogenik maupun non-odontogenik. Kompleksitas persarafan di kepala dan leher terkadang menyulitkan dokter gigi untuk mengidentifikasi darimana nyeri tersebut berasal. Hal tersebut karena adanya perbedaan antara sumber nyeri dan persepsi dari pasien.
