Khutbah Jumat Dan Penyempurnaan Akhlak
Buku kumpulan khutbah Jum’at ini terdiri atas tiga tema, yaitu berkaitan dengan akhlak dan keselamatan berlalu-lintas, adab dalam mengelola sampah, dan sikap memuliakan petani. Ketiga tema tersebut dipilih berdasarkan hasil pengawasan maupun serap aspirasi masyarakat yang menemukan bahwa permasalahan tersebut dihadapi dan menjadi tantangan yang berat sehingga harus dicari solusinya. Diharapkan muncul kesadaran dan panggilan dari para khatib, dai/pendakwah, akademisi, praktisi, mahasiswa, para santri, dan masyarakat umum untuk berpartisipasi mengamalkan materi khutbah sesuai tema dimaksud. Selanjutnya, naskah khutbah ini dapat menjadi materi khutbah yang disampaikan di berbagai masjid dan kalangan masyarakat, sehingga pesan-pesan berkaitan dengan keselamatan berlalu-lintas, adab membuang sampah, dan sikap memuliakan petani dapat tersampaikan dan dipahami. Selanjutnya, dapat muncul kesadaran dan sikap-sikap perilaku dari para jamaah (ummat) sehingga persoalan terkait hal tersebut dapat diatasi.
Biomass for Bioenergy
Lignocellulosic wastes has been widely discussed as a promising natural chemical source and alternative feedstock for second-generation biofuels. However, there are still many technical and economic challenges facing its utilization. Lignin is one of the components of lignocellulosic biomass, and is the most rigid constituent and can be considered as a glue providing the cell wall with stiffness and the plant tissue with compressive strength. In addition, it provides resistance to chemical and physical damage. Resistance of lignocelluloses to hydrolysis is mainly from the protection of cellulose by lignin and cellulose binding to hemicellulose. The present book provides basic knowledge and recent research on different applications of biomass, focusing on the bioenergy and different pretreatment methods that overcome the aforementioned hurdles.
