La exposición pretendía dar a conocer al público nacional e internacional uno de los patrimonios culturales más característicos de Córdoba, sus patios, al tiempo que se establece un diálogo entre ese patrimonio y las últimas tendencias del arte contemporáneo internacional.

Feminism in debate, reform or revolution?
In this collective work we return to old controversies that the feminist tide reopens, as well as new and complex questions that reality raises. Among those controversies that are becoming relevant today, we address here the patriarchy-state relationship, the border between the different reformist currents and revolutionary feminism, as well as the construction of the latter. In turn, regarding the new, we include abortion as a right now in dispute, the religious-political fundamentalist crusade, the validity or not of punitivism in the face of male violence; the dilemmas of surrogacy, domestic work, and prostitution or sex work; identity and intersectionality policies and the challenges of the LGBTI + movement.
A Comparative Study of Women Issues

Courts and Terrorism
Since ancient times, terror tactics have been used to achieve political ends and likely will continue into the foreseeable future. Preserving national security and the safety of civilian populations while maintaining democratic principles and respecting human rights requires a delicate balancing act. In democracies, monitoring that balance typically falls to the courts. Courts and Terrorism examines how judiciaries in nine separate nations have responded, not just to the current wave of Al Qaeda threats, but also to narco-trafficking, domestic terrorism and organized crime syndicates. Terrorism is not a new phenomenon, and even though the reactions have varied significantly, common themes emerge. This volume discusses eleven case studies and analyzes the experiences of these various nations in their battles with terrorism to reveal the judicial quandary for democratic governance and the rule of law in the twenty-first century.

Il volume raccoglie gli atti del Convegno svoltosi a Roma il 20 maggio 2015 presso il Senato della Repubblica. Il fine è favorire una riflessione tra studiosi e rappresentanti delle istituzioni con riguardo al disegno di legge sulle unioni civili, che ha posto al centro del dibattito parlamentare il riconoscimento dei diritti delle coppie omosessuali. All'interno dei contributi, che vedono anche la partecipazione del Ministro della Giustizia Andrea Orlando e della Senatrice Monica Cirinnà, relatrice del disegno di legge al Senato, si articolano diversi approfondimenti che, nell'ambito del diritto interno, europeo e comparato, si occupano del rapporto tra libertà di orientamento sessuale, tutela dei diritti legati alla sfera affettiva e familiare e posizione del legislatore. Al di là del ruolo svolto dalla magistratura, rispetto alla garanzia delle coppie di fatto in casi concreti, spetta ai parlamenti, attraverso la legge, riconoscere i diritti delle coppie omosessuali. È con la consapevolezza di questa insuperabilità del ruolo del potere legislativo, che, l'Italia sta cercando di adottare un'organica disciplina.
