It's common to be afraid of something you can't see but you know is there, like a mouse or rat hiding in your house. Having a phobia takes these fears a step further; they start to interfere with daily life. Set to the backdrop of a museum collection, this book takes readers into the minds of those terrified of snakes, sharks, and even animal skin and fur. Including names and descriptions of many kinds of animal phobias as well as the physiological responses those suffering from phobias may experience, this narrative is high-interest, incredibly interesting, and sometimes a bit creepy.

This book constitutes the proceedings of the third workshop on Business Process Model and Notation, BPMN 2011, held in Lucerne, Switzerland, in November 2011. The 8 research papers presented were carefully reviewed and selected from 20 submissions. In addition, 10 short papers are included. The workshop applied a thorough reviewing process, during which each paper was reviewed by three Program Committee members. The BPMN workshop series provides a forum for academics and practitioners who share an interest in business process modeling using the business process modeling notation, which is seen by many as the de facto standard for business process modeling. This year, the workshop lasted two days and consisted of both a scientific and a practitioner event.
The Journey of a... series looks at how common products end up in our homes, starting with the raw materials and ending with the finished product. This title looks at the journey of a bowl of cornflakes, examining how and where the corn is planted, how it is harvested, how it is turned into cornflakes, and how the cornflakes are packaged, transported and distributed to shops, and eventually eaten!

They are a major food source for several kinds of sea creatures, and although they are tiny, they have a major impact on many other living things. Accessible explanations of marine life, food chains, and other essential science curriculum topics enhance readers' knowledge of the natural world and the part every living thing plays in it. Additional features, such as fact boxes and full-color photographs deepen readers' understanding of these tiny yet hugely important creatures.
