La inclusión de estudiantes sordos al sistema universitario depende del tipo de pensamiento acerca de las poblaciones en condición diversa y de políticas internas a cada centro; en tal sentido, cuentan los modelos pedagógicos y didácticos y los paradigmas epistémicos para pensar y estructurar dicho proceso. Así, en la Universidad Pedagógica Nacional surge la necesidad de considerar el aporte institucional en el proceso de normalización de la lengua de señas colombiana (lsc), con el propósito de que tanto estudiantes, maestros sordos e intérpretes alcancen cada vez mayores niveles de proficiencia. Por esto, este libro constituye un análisis fundamental para el estudio de la lsc en contextos académicos y educativos, con el propósito de aportar en la construcción social de esta lengua que, además de ser común a los sordos de los distintos programas curriculares de la upn, pueda llegar a la comunidad sorda de los demás niveles educativos: infantil, básica y media.

Ecological Informatics promotes interdisciplinary research between ecology and computer science on elucidation of principles of information processing in ecosystems, ecological sustainability by informed decision making, and bio-inspired computation.
