Inicio su carrera en la industria privada de Monterrey para después dedicarse al manejo de clubes privados. Fungió como Director General en los siguientes Clubes: Las Misiones Club Campestre A.C., Club Campestre Monterrey A.C., Club Campestre de León A.C. En el plano deportivo fue un destacado golfista con 47 títulos amateurs en México y los Estados Unidos. Representó a su país internacionalmente en 5 ocasiones y formo parte del equipo mexicano en el "World Amateur Team Championship" (Copa Eisenhower) en 1988. Ha escrito y publicado 4 obras; "La Mística del Golf", "Golf Todo lo que sé", "Cazadores" y "Clubes Privados: Concepto, Operación y Gobierno" En la actualidad se dedica a dar asesorías a clubes privados E intermitentemente al diseño y construcción de campos de golf.
