Diese Aufzeichnungen sollen an die Zeit des ständigen Hoffens und Abschiednehmens von meiner Frau Petra erinnern. Der gesamte Krankheitsverlauf zeigt wie erbarmungslos Krebs ist und wie er einen Menschen in seinem Wesen verändern kann. Das ist so schmerzhaft. Gemeinsam mit meiner Tochter Nadin habe ich Petra ein dreiviertel Jahr auf ihrem schweren Weg begleitet. Als Familie boten wir der Krankheit die Stirn und waren trotzdem so machtlos. Jeder Tag war für Petra geprägt durch den festen Willen wieder gesund zu werden. Petra hatte immer eine positive Einstellung zum Leben und hat gern gelacht. Sie war eine starke und ganz besondere Frau. Trotzdem hat sie den Kampf gegen den Krebs verloren. Wir vermissen sie sehr und werden sie nie vergessen.
