A szerzők e könyvben olyan megtörtént bűncselekményeket mutatnak be, amelyek a közvélemény széles rétegeinél érdeklődésre tarthatnak számot. A század nevezetes bűnügyeinek krónikája azonban nem csak és nem elsősorban érdekes, hanem tanulságos történetek sora is.
