Historia de la Universidad de Zaragoza
Desde el siglo XIX se han publicado numerosas obras sobre la historia de la Universidad de Zaragoza. La que aquí se presenta ofrece dos novedades de importancia. En primer lugar, combina un enfoque diacrónico, con el que se explica la evolución de la institución a lo largo del tiempo desde sus orígenes hasta el año 2015, con una visión de conjunto sobre el patrimonio universitario en todos sus aspectos (patrimonio artístico, arquitectónico y urbanístico, natural y paleontológico, científico-técnico y bibliográfico). En segundo lugar, los estudios que conforman la aproximación histórica han sido escritos por especialistas, constituyen auténticos estados de la cuestión e incorporan las investigaciones más recientes. Graphical Heritage
This book presents the proceedings of the 18th International Conference on Graphic Design in Architecture, EGA 2020, focusing on heritage – including architectural and graphic heritage as well as the graphics of heritage. This first volume gathers selected contributions covering theories, and new technologies and findings to help shed light on current questions related to heritage. It features original documentation studies on historical archives, 3D and solid representation of architectural objects, as well as virtual graphic representation and applications of augmented reality, all documenting and/or reconstructing the present, past and future of architectural objects. Las infraestructuras de datos espaciales son grandes sistemas de información distribuidos en Internet, basados en estándares abiertos y que permiten compartir y usar datos cuya localización es importante, como carreteras, imágenes de satélite y aéreas, negocios y lugares de interés turístico, mapas de ruido y contaminación, callejeros o datos demográficos. Este libro presenta una aproximación basada en arquitecturas de sistemas de información distribuidos para especificar y documentar infraestructuras de datos espaciales y facilitar así su desarrollo y análisis.

La publicación recoge diversos Materiales producidos por el Área de Urbanística y Ordenación del Territorio de la Escuela de Ingeniería y Arquitectura de la Universidad de Zaragoza. Se trata del vol.2 de la serie, con guiones correspondientes a los bloques teóricos y una selección de ejercicios realizados por los estudiantes principalmente en dos asignaturas de la materia (Urbanismo 3 y Urbanismo 4), así como de otra asignatura compartida con el área de Proyectos Arquitectónicos (Taller integrado de Proyectos y Urbanismo), durante los cursos académicos 2011-13.
The triumviral period: civil war, political crisis and socioeconomic transformations
Nothing from the subsequent Augustan age can be fully explained without understanding the previous Triumviral period (43-31 BC). In this book, twenty experts from nine different countries and nineteen universities examine the Triumviral age not merely as a phase of transition to the Principate but as a proper period with its own dynamics and issues, which were a consequence of the previous years. The volume aims to address a series of underlying structural problems that emerged in that time, such as the legal nature of power attributed to the Triumvirs; changes and continuity in Republican institutions, both in Rome and the provinces of the Empire; the development of the very concept of civil war; the strategies of political communication and propaganda in order to win over public opinion; economic consequences for Rome and Italy, whether caused by the damage from constant wars or, alternatively, resulting from the proscriptions and confiscations carried out by the Triumvirs; and the transformation of Roman-Italian society. All these studies provide a complete, fresh and innovative picture of a key period that signaled the end of the Roman Republic.

The Reason why
This book analyses the influence of Francoist policy on agricultural output in the 1939-55 period. The focus is on the wheat, olive and wine sectors and special attention is given to small-scale farmers. Agrarian policy for wheat and olive oil included pricefixing, production quotas and rationing of consumption. Producers and consumers circumvented intervention by creating a black market. When earnings from the black market are included, value of output per unit of land remained close to pre-war levels.
