Educação Integral e o Bem Viver
Sinopse: Neste estudo são apresentadas experiências consumadas no processo de implementação da Educação do Bem Viver em importante área de proteção ambiental do nordeste goiano, a APA de Pouso Alto. Dentre os seis municípios que compõem a APA de Pouso Alto, a cidade de Alto Paraíso de Goiás foi escolhida para sediar o Ipeartes, projeto pedagógico do Centro de Estudo e Pesquisa Ciranda Arte e da Secretaria de Educação do Estado de Goiás que tem como eixos fundantes a Arte/Educação e as Tecnologias Sustentáveis. O estudo, de abordagem etnológica, apresenta duas experiências consumadas no território: o Encontro Jovem de Alto Paraíso, primeiro evento realizado com o objetivo de discutir o tema “Construindo a Escola do Bem Viver”; e a Olimpíada de Humanidades, um projeto (inter-, trans-) disciplinar entre as áreas de arte e ciências humanas, o qual se configura como projeto de aprendizagem significativa na consumação de experiências transformadoras de caráter cognitivo-afetivas.

Agent-Based Computational Demography (ABCD) aims at starting a new stream of research among social scientists whose interests lie in understanding demographic behaviour. The book takes a micro-demographic (agent-based) perspective and illustrates the potentialities of computer simulation as an aid in theory building.
