Temas Contemporâneos de Psicologia em Reprodução Humana Assistida - A infertilidade em seu espectro psicoemocional é o 2º volume de um projeto que se constitui dos trabalhos apresentados nos congressos de Reprodução Assistida, nos anos de 2013, em Bonito (Mato Grosso), e 2014, em Salvador (Bahia), e focaliza temas atuais que integram o cotidiano profissional de quem trata dos problemas da fertilidade e suas consequências. O objetivo do livro é propor reflexão e possibilidades de tratamento aos profissionais desta área trazendo à tona o tema da infertilidade e reprodução assistidas, em seu espectro psicoemocional, ainda não devidamente considerado em nosso meio. Business Process Maturity
Organisations face many challenges, which induce them to perform better, and thus to establish mature (or excellent) business processes. As they now face globalisation, higher competitiveness, demanding customers, growing IT possibilities, compliancy rules etc., business process maturity models (BPMMs) have been introduced to help organisations gradually assess and improve their business processes (e.g. CMMI or OMG-BPMM). In fact, there are now so many BPMMs to choose from that organisations risk selecting one that does not fit their needs or one of substandard quality. This book presents a study that distinguishes process management from process orientation so as to arrive at a common understanding. It also includes a classification study to identify the capability areas and maturity types of 69 existing BPMMs, in order to strengthen the basis of available BPMMs. Lastly it presents a selection study to identify criteria for choosing one BPMM from the broad selection, which produced a free online selection tool, BPMM Smart-Selector.
Richard Tregaskis
In the late summer of 1942, more than ten thousand members of the First Marine Division held a tenuous toehold on the Pacific island of Guadalcanal. As American marines battled Japanese forces for control of the island, they were joined by war correspondent Richard Tregaskis. Tregaskis was one of only two civilian reporters to land and stay with the marines, and in his notebook he captured the daily and nightly terrors faced by American forces in one of World War II's most legendary battles--and it served as the premise for his bestselling book, Guadalcanal Diary. This Thematic Study is a joint venture between ICOMOS, the advisory body to UNESCO on cultural sites, and the International Astronomical Union. System of Open Spaces
In the current panorama of urban growth and planning in many urban territories of western societies, open spaces are residual spaces of urban occupation or are reserved for eventual occupation. Open spaces have been viewed in this manner in the earlier stages of the compact city and especially now, in a time of the dispersed territories characterized by discontinuity, heterogeneity, and fragmentation. The disciplinary perspectives of ecology, geology, landscape architecture, and urbanism, but also public opinion, have for some time promoted the conservation and protection of the most valuable natural spaces, and efforts have been made to remove such spaces from the real estate market. However, such positions, usually radical, are insufficient for territorial equilibrium and inevitably lead to the progressive disappearance of valuable natural spaces.
Respiratory Contagion
The book focuses on the contagion nature of respiratory ailments, the ways a pulmonary disease is spread. Respiratory infections are surrounded by interrelated circumstances that act upon individual and community and eventually underlie morbidity.
