O volume que ora se apresenta é produto do Seminário Internacional Gramsci, realizado entre os dias 28 e 30 de agosto de 2007, nas dependências da Faculdade de Filosofia e Ciências da UNESP (campus de Marília). a sua publicação neste formato se justifica pela qualidade dos trabalhos apresentados tanto como resultados de pesquisas concluídas ou quase, quanto pelos projetos ainda em desenvolvimento. a pretensão dessa brochura é bastante limitada, estando reduzida a tornar pública a riqueza (e talvez o calor) do debate travado nos dias do Seminário, mas a sua utilidade é evidente.

A Obra Aspectos da Educação chega a seu sexto volume Desafios da educação: questões para educadores apresentando com qualidade uma coletânea de relatos de pesquisas, de práticas e de reflexões epistemológicas envolvidas com as questões da educação no Brasil. A obra é composta por oito capítulos divididos em dois eixos temáticos. O primeiro eixo temático engloba as questões relativas à Educação, tecnologia e metodologias do ensino, sendo composto pelos quatro primeiros capítulos da obra. O segundo eixo temático engloba as questões relativas à Educação, formação humana e políticas educacionais, sendo composto por quatro capítulos.
