Kesehatan reproduksi merupakan suatu keadaan sejahtera secara fisik, mental, dan sosial secara utuh. Kesehatan reproduksi tidak semata-mata bebas dari penyakit yang berkaitan dengan sistem, fungsi, dan proses reproduksi. Namun menjaga kesehatan reproduksi sangatlah penting terutama bagi remaja yaitu dengan menerapkan pola hidup sehat, mengonsumsi vitamin, dan menjaga perilaku. Dalam hal mempersiapkan remaja yang berkualitas, di mana masa remaja merupakan masa paling penting dalam pertumbuhan manusia, permasalahan remaja yang berkaitan dengan kesehatan reproduksi sering kali berakar dari kurangnya informasi, pemahaman dan kesadaran untuk mencapai keadaan sehat secara reproduksi. Banyak hal yang berkaitan dengan ini salah satunya mengenai pemahaman pentingnya pemeliharaan kebersihan alat reproduksi, proses-proses reproduksi dan dampak perilaku tidak bertanggung jawab. Semoga buku ini bermanfaat dalam memberikan tambahan ilmu dan wawasan mengenai kesehatan reproduksi terutama bagi remaja.
Komunikasi dengan Lansia
Komunikasi adalah proses penyampaian pesan dari komunikator kepada komunikan dengan media tertentu yang berguna untuk membuat pemahaman yang sama di antara mereka, informasi yang disampaikan dapat memberikan efek tertentu kepada komunikan. Melalui komunikasi interpersonal, perawat dapat mengetahui bagaimana membentuk hubungan yang baik dengan orang tua, sehingga orang tua merasa nyaman di saat menghabiskan hari-harinya. Proses komunikasi merupakan bagian integral untuk mendapatkan fakta-fakta yang memicu atau memperburuk perilaku yang sulit. Pengasuh harus dapat berkomunikasi secara efektif dengan orang tua, keluarga, dan staf lain secara profesional. Hasilnya, komponen dasar dari proses komunikasi diperkenalkan dan diterapkan pada lansia.
