Cada vez son más las voces que se alzan en todo el mundo para presionar a los respectivos gobiernos contra esa irresponsabilidad, y para demandar un crecimiento sostenible y respetuoso con el entorno. A pesar del avance en la concienciación de la ciudadanía con respecto al medio ambiente, es imprescindible seguir en la brecha para modificar las actitudes de las personas. En este sentido, la escuela tiene también la oportunidad de contribuir a esta concienciación ciudadana.
