Taken literally, it is very similar, if not identical, to the teachings of the NPD ("No Personal Devil") advocates. We, however, believe in a personal devil, not because we have been told to and not because we are repeating some theological dogma. We say that there is a personal devil because it is the simplest explanation for observations made with our own eyes. It appears to us to cause all the puzzle pieces of the Bible to fit together, harmonize, and make sense.
