Working on this song together could bring Kelsey and Eric closer than ever or tear them—and the band—apart forever. Late nights and close quarters also make it difficult to hide drummer Kelsey's accidental pregnancy, but their painful history has her holding back the truth. Mr. Do-The-Right-Thing would step up in a heartbeat, but Kelsey refuses to settle for being someone's obligation. Bass player Eric can't erase their past or his mistakes. But thanks to this song, he now has an open door to earn Kelsey's trust and love again. For good this time. * * * * * This sweet and sexy, small-town, interracial romance is filled with hope, healing, and found family friendship between the musicians of a Louisiana Cajun band.

On January 19, 2009, Chicago teacher and playwright Joe Janes decided to write a comedy sketch a day for a year. He did that. When he was done, Don Hall of the WNEP Theater Foundation decided to produce them. All of them. In June of 2010, Don and Joe gathered together over 200 Chicago actors and directors and over eleven nights presented 26 shows each featuring two weeks worth of sketches (although one has 15 scenes). Yep. Crazy. All 365 comedy sketches are collected in this book along with a complete list of directors and actors from the Strawdog shows. Joe teaches comedy writing at The Second City and Columbia College.

Quadratics: The Multi-tom Focus is a book geared toward the marching tenor drummer as well as the percussion instructor and composer. The book shines light on subtleties often overlooked by composers such as flow and counter-melodic lines. These ideas will also help behind the drums as the drummer can uncover new capabilities within their skillset. Quadratics is designed specifically for more advanced drummers. This allows the content of the book to merely touch on basics, identifying a starting point, and push forward from there. The flow of the book inclines similarly to a standard drumline warmup structure. Several parallels can be drawn in order to create a complete learning experience.
