MS Acc13.117 comprises a journal recounting the experience of Roland Robert Bradley who was on board the merchant ship SS Kanahooka in 1894. The ship was carrying a cargo of guano from Wellesley Islands in the Gulf of Carpentaria to Tasmania. They were only one day at sea when their ship foundered. Bradley and several of the crew made it to shore in a lifeboat but were not rescued for 18 days.
