Richard Linville (ca. 1652-1684), Quaker son of Thomas Linvill and Elizabeth Wickersham, emigrated with his wife Mary, from England to Chester, Pennsylvania in 1684 (he died almost immediately after arrival). His widow married Thomas Baldwin of New Jersey in 1684. Descendants and relatives lived in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, Illinois, Kansas and elsewhere.
