Chao, 11 December 1962, congratulating him on his Degree and talking about the pirated translation of Mathews' Chinese-English dictionary; notes referring to Mathews work in translating for the Defence Department, use of the translations and his work as a teacher and conversationalist in Chinese at the Point Cook language school.
