Robert Williams and his wife, Elizabeth Stratton (d. 1674), had at least four sons, 1632-1640 or after. They immigrated to America ca. 1638 and settled at Roxbury, Massachusetts. He died in 1693. Descendants listed lived in Massachusetts, New York, and elsewhere.

I am the great grandson of a black Baptist preacher, Alfred “Parson” Williams, founding pastor, Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, Tampa, Florida. I want to share with you the path I remember following with the aid of helpers, to my personal fulfillment as a minister in the cohort of United Methodist preachers.
