The Collins Family History
Charles Prescott Collins (1847-1918) was born in Caribou, Maine. His ancestors settled in Maine and elsewhere in New England. Charles moved from Maine to Wisconsin, then to Shamburg, Venango County, Pennsylvania. He married Ida Merrill in 1876, and they settled in Bradford, McKean County, Pennsylvania. Descendants and relatives also lived in Alaska, Illiniois, Iowa, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and elsewhere.
