What, for instance, connects a Native American Shaman in Arizona with an Aboriginal elder in Australia's Northern Territory? What links them to a blind African prophet and artist? Or a Jewish woman who gave up a home and family in California to build a retreat in the sacred valley of the Incas? And what does meeting a golden lioness on the banks of the Amazon river have to do with a murdered lioness in Southern Africa? How did the Dalai Lama's words impact on a well-educated cynic and non-believer who unexpectedly found herself undergoing a mindshift on a magical journey to the ancient sacred places of Peru? Kate Thurkington was that cynic and non-believer and she shares the the experience of the spiritual journey that she had, unknowingly been travelling all her life - experiences that have changed her life.
