Buku ini berisikan kegiatan program kerja pengabdian masyarakat yang dilaksanakan oleh mahasiswa Universitas Muhammadiyah Banjarmasin bertempat di desa Berangas Timur, Kecamatan Alalak, Kabupaten Barito Kuala, Kalimantan Selatan. Berdasarkan hasil observasi dari penulis terdapat beberapa masalah yang dapat dijadikan sebagai program kerja di desa Berangas Timur. Rumusan masalah yang didapatkan adalah adanya tingginya angka stunting, kurangnya pengelolaan sampah, dan permasalahan ekonomi yang terdapat di desa Berangas Timur. Maka dengan berbagai masalah tersebut program kerja unggulan yang dilaksanakan oleh penulis yaitu edukasi terkait stunting, pemantauan/monitoring berat badan anak balita di posyandu, kunjungan kerumah balita beresiko stunting, pelatihan dan keterampilan membuat makanan sehat bergizi seperti pudding dari pisang ambon, nugget dari tempe, dan nugget dari ikan patin serta kampanye germas isi piringku, perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat (PHBS), edukasi pengelolaan sampah dan pengenalan ecobriks di sekolah SDN Berangas Timur 1 dan SDN Berangas Timur 2.
Melek Stunting : Program Penumbuhan Pengetahuan dan Kesadaran Keluarga Mengenai Pentingnya Kesehatan dan Gizi
Buku ini disusun berdasarkan pelaksanaan Pengabdian Masyarakat di Desa Samuda, Kecamatan Belawang, Kabupaten Barito Kuala, Provinsi Kalimantan Selatan. Diperoleh beberapa poin permasalahan yang ditemukan berdasarkan hasil observasi, yaitu dari sektor ekonomi, infrastruktur, dan kesehatan. Dari permasalahan tersebut dirumuskan program kerja unggulan yang dilaksanakan oleh penulis terkait dengan edukasi terkait stunting. Program kerja unggulan yang penulis laksanakan adalah Melek Stunting, pengumpulan data stunting & keluarga berisiko stunting, program DASHAT & pemetaan potensi sumber daya lokal, pembinaan lingkungan sehat, kerja bakti, serta gotong royong untuk masjid muhammadiyah.
