ICISPE 2021
We proudly present the proceedings of 6th International Conference on Social and Political Enquiries 2021 (ICISPE 2021) with the main theme The Politics of Pandemics: Governing Social and Communal Resilience in Times of Crises. It focuses on the relation of policy and global network, regional integration, pandemics regulation, human security, and local government. These issues are important today, not only globally, but also Indonesia nationally to the local level. There are several important issues relating to this, both institutionally and the relationships between individuals and groups in supporting the agenda in managing the pandemics. More than 130 manuscripts were presented at this conference; around 60 of which are selected to be published in proceedings. We hope by this conference, discussions on the importance of sustainable development will increasingly become an important concern together and bring better response from the government and social relations for development.

Fokus penelitian ini tentang bagaimana upaya memahami gerakan dan perkembangan jaringan terorisme di Indonesia khususnya jaringan JAT—mulai dari pendirian JAT pada Juli 2008 hingga pengangkapan anggota JAT pada Mei 2010. Studi ini meneliti tentang posisi JAT dalam peta gerakan radikal dan perannya dalam perkembangan jaringan terorisme di Indonesia. Penelitian ini menjadi penting mengingat banyaknya tindak pidana terorisme di Indonesia. Hasil penelitian ini sebelumnya sudah pernah diterbitkan dan diedarkan secara internal dan terbatas pada Juli 2010 dengan judul “Peran Aktivis JAT dalam Kegiatan Terorisme: Studi Kasus JAT & Jaringan Aceh-Pamulang.” pada terbitan kali ini, beberapa data telah diperbarui, agar tetap relevan pada saat dicetak ulang.

This book offers a translation of the seven thousand verses of the second book of the medieval Hindu text, the Ganesa Purana, one of two Puranas dedicated to the important elephant-headed god. In this book the reader is given many narratives about Ganesas ascent to earth in order to kill demonic figures who threaten to overthrow the correct world order. In addition, these narratives contain myths about Ganesa's birth and family as well as some extended and quite humorous myths about ideal devotees of the god.The translation is preceded by a long introduction offering a geographical and historical context for the GanesaPurana. Following the translation are very extensive notes which bring our points of philological interest, but focus mainly on the literary structure of the text and the methods used to present the many myths and narratives in a coherent and fully integrated manner.
