L'Italia di Don Matteo
Don Matteo è una serie televisiva1 italiana trasmessa da Rai 1 a partire dal 7 gennaio 2000. È prodotta dalla Lux Vide di Matilde e Luca Bernabei in collaborazione con Rai Fiction. La serie nasce sul finire degli anni novanta da un’idea del regista cinematografico Enrico Oldoini, ed è prodotta dalla Lux Vide S.p.A. di Matilde e Luca Bernabei in collaborazione con Rai Fiction. Il protagonista Don Matteo Minelli-Bondini, sacerdote-detective che si ispira a Padre Brown di Gilbert Keith Chesterton, è interpretato da Terence Hill. Don Matteo è parroco della chiesa di San Giovanni in Gubbio, trasferito a Spoleto dalla nona stagione, e aiuta abitualmente i Carabinieri nelle indagini. Oltre a Hill, gli attori principali sono Nino Frassica nel ruolo del maresciallo Nino Cecchini, Flavio Insinna nel ruolo del capitano Anceschi, e Simone Montedoro nel ruolo del capitano Giulio Tommasi.
