Buku ini membahas pendekatan terapi rasional pada kasus hipertensi, gagal jantung, penyakit jantung koroner, dislipidemia, dan aritmia jantung. Selain fokus pada pemahaman mengenai target terapi pada masing-masing obat, pada buku ini juga akan dibahas mengenai profil farmakokinetik dari masing-masing obat yang digunakan pada penanganan penyakit-penyakit tersebut. Pemahaman mengenai farmakokinetik dan farmakodinamik masing-masing obat ini juga akan dikaitkan dengan bagaimana potensi efek samping dan efek toksik yang akan muncul terkait penggunaan obat tersebut.
