Nathan Nate the Great Campbell has had nothing shy of a difficult life. Everyone he has ever held dear left him in one way or another. Trials and troubles are as natural to him as breathing. Or will the reason for his fathers prolonged absence send Nathan spiraling into an abyss of uncertainty?
Charles and his dog, Spot, set out on a quest to play hopscotch. Their venture is the same day after day yet no one will let them join in and play, "You can't play hopscotch wearing funny frog face flip flops," is what they would say. Discouraged one day he begins to cry and Spot licks the tears of his favorite guy. To cheer Charles up Spot fetches a stick and that's when the fun truly begins.
