Construction industry is suffering from low productivity rate in various projects such as excavation. Although this issue is discussed in literature and several approaches are proposed to address it, productivity rate is still low in construction industry compared to other domains like manufacturing. A gamified platform in which different operators from different organizations can share their achievements, or can get scored and ranked in a leader-board will potentially address this issue.
Designing Intelligent Construction Projects Explore the potential impact of management cybernetics, lean methodologies, and digitalization on the construction sector As a heavily asset-driven industry, construction is at the crossroads of a transformation. Digitalization has already begun and is acting as a beacon. Intelligently designed project organizations and systems must follow to make construction projects fit for the future. In Designing Intelligent Construction Projects, a distinguished project manager and engineer and a lean and integrated management system manager deliver a comprehensive exploration of the fundamentals of management cybernetics, lean management in general and lean ...
This book includes recent research on disruptive technologies, tech ethics, and artificial intelligence. Due to the important advances in technologies such as artificial intelligence, big data, the Internet of Things or bioinformatics produced in recent years, it is necessary to conduct a thorough review of current ethical patterns. One of the research fields that is in full expansion and with a broad future is technology ethics or tech ethics. Just a few years ago, this type of research was a small part, and they did not have too many technology researchers involved. At present, due to the explosion of new applications of artificial intelligence, their problems and their legal barriers have...
- participants in such a way that opportunistic behavior of the participants does not have negative consequences for the project as a whole. This paper systematizes the current state of knowledge on IPA and examines the economics of these approaches.
Based on the consolidation of the consignment volume of cooperating building materials traders, the logistics network will be improved and the transport efficiency of the cooperation partners will be increased. In addition to the development, the cooperation model will be evaluated by simulations on the basis of real data and the impact of the cooperation model for the total drive distance of the cooperation partners will be examined.
