Este livro Pedagogia Ubuntuísta: formação inicial com afrodocência é resultado de pesquisa sobre a formação inicial docente no Brasil com objetivo de analisar os lugares de apropriação dos saberes ubuntu na formação inicial docente, considerando a Educação das Relações Étnico-Raciais (ERER). Para tanto, fundamentada na afrocentricidade e na decolonialidade, desenvolvemos a metodologia da Travessia do SER, construída a partir da metáfora da barca de Amen-em-ope, alinhada a sociopoética e os estudos com/do/no cotidiano. Problematizamos a epistemologia, as ciências e a formação docente hegemônica que vem sendo consubstanciada no Brasil, ao promovermos uma discussão acerca de saberes decoloniais e afrocentrados, a partir da filosofia africana do ubuntu.
