This constitues the first volume of the series. It indicates the scope of the project and provides a list of sources which will be surveyed in the sebsequent volumes, as well as provide a guide to secondary literature for further study of Indian Philosophy. It lists in relative chronological order, Sanskrit and Tamil works. All known editions and translations into European languages are cited; where puplished versions of the text are not known a guide to the location of manuscripts of the work is provided.

Western Himalayan Temple Records
While numerous studies exist on major South-Asian temples, surprisingly little is known about minor shrines and lesser states . Here fifty-five new documents, in a western-Himalayan script and language, and belonging to a small Siddha shrine, redress this remarkable gap in our knowledge. The documents cover a wide spectrum from revenue grants to those dealing with ritual, pilgrimage, legality and temple-economy thus building a picture of the relationship between state and shrine, and particularly so for the minor centres: their popularity and relationship with major temples; mundane matters; notices, petitions, and law-suits. It becomes clear how lesser states , despite their limited resources, patronized numerous small shrines, along with major temples; and the role played by the Nath-Siddha-ascetics in creating consent-to-rule, acculturation, and constructing hybridity between the Hindu and Tibetan-Buddhist traditions.
Sports Promotion In India
Recognising the role of coaching in the promotion of sports in the country a small beginning was made during 1953. Later it has got momentum and taken the shape of National Coaching Scheme. Since, then the scheme was functioning under the sports Authority of India (SAI). It is aimed to promote various sports disciplines, talent scouting, expert coaching, identify and develop excellency among youth and to co-ordinate sports activities among different institutions. To realise the above, a dedicated team of coaches from selected disciplines were appointed and deployed to various institutions and state in the country.
