Transdisciplinarity and Translationality in High Dilution Research
While evidence for the biological effects of high dilutions (above Avogadro’s number) has been extensively documented since the 1980s, it seems to remain invisible to part of the global scientific community. This book provides investigators and other interested readers with direct access to the latest research, conducted between 2009 and 2019, by members of the Groupe International de Recherche sur l’Infinitésimal, the first international scientific society devoted to scientific studies of high dilutions. As shown here, the state of the art in high dilution research allows answering with a sound, evidence-based “no” to the question “Is homeopathy really that implausible?” Therefore this book is an essential contribution to the ongoing debate on complementary and alternative medicine, much-needed by practitioners, patients, and governments in the formulation of healthcare policies.

Durante seis ou mais anos, todas as quintas-feiras, às 20h, o autor deste livro e sua esposa iam para a Paróquia de Santo Antônio, na cidade de Pirassununga, a fim de participar das reuniões de Amor-Exigente (grupo de apoio a jovens dependentes químicos e familiares). Não existia feriado, dia Santo de Guarda ou data festiva que os fizesse deixar de comparecer. Era um dia sagrado para os jovens e para eles. Guardaram com carinho o livro de presença às reuniões realizadas de 29 de junho de 1999 a 31 de julho de 2003. Aprenderam muito com os jovens e outros não tão jovens. Uma história de luta pela sobriedade que somente o dependente químico, seus familiares e os que os acolhem podem aquilatar. Na revista Família Cristã de fevereiro de 2020, pág. 52, depararam com uma mensagem do Papa Francisco cuja vida se faz história e, para Francisco, é por meio da memória que histórias, esperanças e sonhos são repassados de uma geração à outra. Com este relato o autor homenagear todos os voluntários que se doaram e, ainda se doam, pela recuperação do dependente químico. Como dizia o Padre Haroldo Hans: “Rezem por mim, que eu rezo por vocês”
