This book gathers peer-reviewed, selected contributions from participants of the 6th International Workshop on Nonlinear and Modern Mathematical Physics (NMMP-2022), hosted virtually from June 17–19, 2022. Works contained in this volume cover topics like nonlinear differential equations, integrable systems, Hamiltonian systems, inverse scattering transform, Painleve's analysis, nonlinear wave phenomena and applications, numerical methods of nonlinear wave equations, quantum integrable systems, and more. In this book, researchers and graduate students in mathematics and related areas will find new methods and tools that only recently have been developed to solve nonlinear problems. The sixth edition of the NMMP workshop was organized by Florida A&M University in Tallahassee, Florida, USA, with support from the University of South Florida, Florida State University, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Savannah State University, Prairie View A&M University, and Beijing Jiaotong University. The aim was to bring together researchers from around the world to present their findings and foster collaboration for future research.

Integrability of Nonlinear Systems

The lectures that comprise this volume constitute a comprehensive survey of the many and various aspects of integrable dynamical systems. The present edition is a streamlined, revised and updated version of a 1997 set of notes that was published as Lecture Notes in Physics, Volume 495. This volume will be complemented by a companion book dedicated to discrete integrable systems. Both volumes address primarily graduate students and nonspecialist researchers but will also benefit lecturers looking for suitable material for advanced courses and researchers interested in specific topics.

Dedicated to a broad audience and scientists, this new-generation, easy-to-read, pictorial, interactive book uses beautiful photography, video channel, and computer scripts in R and Python to demonstrate existing and explore new solitons – the magnificent and versatile energy concentration phenomenon of nature. With 200 images and videos collected around the world and on magnificent Australian beaches, we describe captivating stand-alone ocean solitons capable of travelling hundreds of miles uninterrupted. Along with scary tsunamis, the tricky solitonic bores propagating upstream narrow river channels may cause disasters for coastal cities. Sudden killer rogue waves endanger even large shi...

Soliton Equations and Hamiltonian Systems

The theory of soliton equations and integrable systems has developed rapidly during the last 20 years with numerous applications in mechanics and physics. For a long time books in this field have not been written but the flood of papers was overwhelming: many hundreds, maybe thousands of them. All this followed one single work by Gardner, Greene, Kruskal, and Miura about the Korteweg-de Vries equation (KdV) which, had seemed to be merely an unassuming equation of mathematical physics describing waves in shallow water.

Synopsis of the Pauline Letters in Greek and English

This Greek-English synopsis of parallel passages in the Pauline corpus and the Acts of the Apostles is an essential tool for studying the New Testament. "It has become fashionable in recent years to lay out parallels to Paul's writings. The value of being able to examine such parallels so conveniently--without having to use fingers, thumbs, spare pens, and bookmarks to maintain access to multiple passages at the same time--hardly needs to be stressed. This volume, however, provides also the Greek, with some indication of variant readings, which is much better for those who can handle the Greek and who don't want to be confused by varied translations or misled by any hidden agendas of transla...
