Jahrhunderts. 2019 zeigte die Fondation Beyeler in ihrer bis dato hochkarätigsten Ausstellung rund 80 Meisterwerke aus renommierten Museen und Privatsammlungen. Sie zählen nicht nur zu den kostbarsten Kunstwerken überhaupt, sondern auch zu den schönsten und emotionalsten der Moderne. Der Band macht damit das Frühwerk des Ausnahmekünstlers auf einmalige Art und Weise erlebbar.

Catalogue officiel de l'exposition Picasso bleu et rose au musée d'Orsay du 18 septembre 2018 au 6 janvier 2019. Le musée d'Orsay et le musée national Picasso-Paris organisent une manifestation exceptionnelle consacrée aux périodes bleue et rose de Pablo Picasso. Pour la toute première fois en France , cette période essentielle de la carrière de l'artiste est traitée dans son ensemble. Cet ouvrage propose une lecture renouvelée des années 1900 - 1906 de Picasso, en réunissant des chefs d'oeuvres, pour certains jamais présentés en France, ainsi qu'un ensemble important de peintures, de dessins, et la totalité de la production sculptée et gravée de l'artiste. La présentation de cette exposition au musée d'Orsay manifeste la volonté d'inscrire le jeune Picasso dans son époque. Ses différentes productions sont ainsi remises en contexte avec le travail de ses contemporains ou prédécesseurs, espagnols et français (Casas, Nonell, Casagemas, Steinlen, Degas, Toulouse-Lautrec ou Gauguin). Cette exposition sera ensuite présentée à la Fondation Beyeler à Bâle du 3 février au 26 mai 2019.
