Allah, jika engkau masih mencintaiku dan berkenan aku berjalan di jalan lurus-Mu, izinkan aku menjaga kehormatan ini sampai bertemu jodohku. *** Lahir dari seorang pelacur, kehilangan ayah, miskin, plus peraih nilai jongkok di sekolah. Mentari tentu saja tidak menginginkan itu. Setelah kabur dari rumah sendiri, ia bekerja di toko roti sambil meneruskan sekolah. Tapi orang-orang suruhan ibunya, yang juga muncikari, terus mengejar. Yusuf datang menolong, dan benih-benih cinta pun hadir. Namun, Yusuf yang berasal dari keluarga religius, apakah akan bertahan pada perasaan cintanya setelah mengetahui asal-usul Tari? Apalagi, Tari pun menderita skizofrenia. Sedang, Tari masih terombang-ambing. Ia tak dapat memisahkan alam nyata dan khayalannya. Apakah Tari akan kembali menatap dunia nyata?
