Sejarah perkembangan kehidupan manusia tak seorangpun yang dapat hidup menyendiri, terpisah dari kelompok manusia lainnya, kecuali dalam keadaan terpaksa dan itupun hanyalah untuk sementara waktu. Manusia sebagai individu (perseorangan) mempunyai kehidupan jiwa yang menyendiri, namun manusia sebagai makhluk sosial tidak dapat dipisahkan dari masyarakat. Manusia lahir, hidup, berkembang dan meninggal dunia di dalam masyarakat juga. Dalam jaran agama Islam (al-Qur’an) mengajarkan tata susunan masyarakat dengan akhlak yang tinggi dan bermartabat. Masyarakat tersusun dari para individu, dan individu ini harus memiliki kepercayaan yang kuat yang berpokok pada rukun iman yang enam yang bernafaskan rukun hidup menurut Islam.

"New media and development of gender roles: law, social, and economic perspective.” This theme was raised as an effort to observe the development of new technology that has greatly affected people’s lives. Formerly to seek information, people can get it through conventional radio media, newspapers and television. But now only use the smartphone we can get very much information that can be obtained by accessing the online media portal or sharing and socializing through social media. For decades it has been stated that the media has the power to shape public opinion. Media not only can form a “worldview” of society, but also able to create awareness and individual belief in reality; a reality that has been defined by the media. Media has a powerful and direct effect to the audience (market). Including how then the media formed an opinion in the community about gender roles through the content provided by the new media. Of course it will be interesting to study media related to the law, social, and economic perspective.

In the Industrial Revolution Era 4.0, led by technological developments, education plays an essential role in preparing students with the skills required to survive. Pedagogical innovations in the pre-service teacher programme are necessary to encourage pre-service teachers with adequate abilities and skills in preparing classroom activities that enhance the essential skills. This book results from a one-year study examining a new approach to equip prospective mathematics teachers with 21st-century skills. The prospective teachers were involved in RoboSTE[M], a STEM-based approach that employs robotics in the classroom. The book contains articles that discussed Robotic and STEM education, followed by ready-to-used RoboSTE[M] students worksheets that prospective mathematics teachers produced.
