Characteristics of Stayers, Movers, and Leavers
In this report, tabulations on the characteristics of movers, leavers, and stayers present data from the 1991-92 Teacher Followup Survey (TFS), a followup of a sample of public and private school teachers who responded to the 1990-91 Schools and Staffing Survey (SASS). Data include characteristics of teachers who left the profession between the school years 1990-91 and 1991-92 (leavers), teachers who changed schools (movers), and teachers who stayed at the same school (stayers).
