A heat wave works its way under the sea surface with increasing speed from south to north. The season "winter" obviously did not take place at all in the southern North Sea at the turn of the year from 2019 to 2020... The temperature measurements of the Federal Maritime and Hydrographic Agency in Germany speak volumes. Actually, there should be alarm sirens going off all day long... A further indication of the climate catastrophe can be found under the sea surface: namely the shift of the fauna of the English Channel to the north, which is now beginning to establish itself on our coasts in the German Bight. This work takes a closer look at several known and lesser known species of invertebrates and fish and places them in the context of climate change. It provides various convincing arguments against all deniers of the climate catastrophe, which is already subtly announced by the faunal change...

Die Fauna der Nordsee
In der Nordsee spielt sich ein Drama ab. Weitgehend unbemerkt von einem größeren Publikum wandern ständig neue Arten aus aller Herren Länder in unsere Küstengewässer ein und infiltrieren so die autochthone Meeresfauna an unseren Küsten. Gleichzeitig schaffen große Müllansammlungen auf dem Meeresgrund neue Siedlungsflächen für Tiere, die sich sonst auf unseren strukturarmen Sandböden gar nicht halten könnten. Während die Klimakatastrophe für einen stetigen Nachschub weiterer neuer Arten aus dem Süden sorgt... Zeit, unsere eigentlichen Arten kennen zu lernen, bevor sie ganz verschwunden sind...

Die Meeresfauna von Borkum
Was lebt im Meer auf Borkum? Das hat sich sicher schon mancher Tourist oder Tagesgast dieser schönen Nordseeinsel mit Hochseeklima gefragt. Manche Tiere kann man gar nicht übersehen, während andere Winzlinge sind, für deren Entdeckung man eine Lupe braucht. Hier werden einige alte Bekannte, etliche weitgehend Unbekannte und darüber hinaus noch neue Arten vorgestellt, welche die Klimaerwärmung vor Borkums Strände spült... Bei der Erstellung dieses Buches hatte der Autor eine Perspektive, die eine Zeitspanne von etwa 30 Jahren umfasst. Ein sehr persönliches Werk, welches aus den Erkenntnissen vieler Jahre erstellt wurde.
