Penulisan buku ini adalah kegiatan yang dilakukan oleh Dosen Program Studi Studi Agama-Agama, untuk menunjang salah satu daripada tri dharma perguruan tinggi yaitu penelitian dan karya ilmiah dosen. Dosen yang telah diamanahkan dalam penulisan buku dalam tahun ini ada tiga orang dosen, disesuaikan dengan anggaran yang di tetapkan dalam RKA-KL program Studi-Studi Agama-Agama, salah satu diantaranya ialah Prof. Dr. Hj. Syamsudduha Saleh, M. Ag, dengan yang khusus mengkaji mengenai Agama Yahudi. Program ini dilaksanakan dengan maksud untuk meningkatkan skill keilmuan dalam bidang yang sesuai dengan disiplin keilmuan dosen prodi Studi Agama-Agama dan menghasilkan sumber daya manusia yang memiliki kompetensi keilmuan mahasiswa dan makasiswi Prodi Studi Agama-Agama.
