This book constitutes the thoroughly refereed proceedings of the Second Iberoamerican Conference, KGSWC 2020, held in Mérida, Mexico, in November 2020. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic the conference was held online. The 15 papers presented were carefully reviewed and selected from 45 submissions. The papers cover research and practices in several fields of AI, such as knowledge representation and reasoning, natural language processing/text mining, machine/deep learning, semantic web, and knowledge graphs.

The Social and Political Potential of Cash Transfers
Cash Transfers, for all their notable successes, have been criticised for their limited ability to move poor households to provide sustainable routes out of poverty. This book draws on original qualitative research by leading scholars and development policy experts from a range of disciplines to examine whether cash transfers can have transformative spillover effects on individuals, households and communities. Case studies from Africa, the Middle East and Latin America show that, while there are limits to the sustainability of the transformations brought about by Cash Transfers, they can bring about changes affecting the social and political integration of very poor households. With chapters on Psycho-Social Wellbeing, Social Accountability and Social Capital, this comprehensive volume casts new light on the ongoing debates over the significance of the Cash Transfer ‘revolution’. Violencia contra las mujeres en contextos urbanos y rurales
La violencia contra las mujeres es una realidad, presente con intensidades y formas variadas en los diferentes contextos socioculturales de México. Ese es el tema de este libro, que reúne artículos derivados de investigaciones originales en torno al fenómeno. El primer eje temático se refiere a los crímenes de odio que desde hace un decenio han dejado una huella indeleble en ciudad Juárez. En un segundo apartado se incluyen dos textos sobre el maltrato a las mujeres embarazadas y la atención que reciben en los espacios de salud. Posteriormente se aborda la violencia en contextos rurales desde dos ángulos específicos: la perspectiva de la medicina tradicional y la experiencia migratoria transnacional. También se analiza la relación derecho y violencia, tanto desde una perspectiva teórica como con énfasis en la interacción de la norma escrita y la costumbre jurídica. El último apartado del libro está destinado al análisis de la lucha contra la violencia.

Extra-Ordinary Men analyzes popular cinematic representations of white heterosexual masculinity as the 'ordinary' form of male identity, one that enjoys considerable economic, social, political, and representational strength. Nicola Rehling argues that while this normative position affords white heterosexual masculinity ideological and political dominance, such 'ordinariness' also engenders the anxiety that it is a depthless, vacuous, and unstable identity. At a time when the neutrality of white heterosexual masculinity has been challenged by identity politics, this insightful volume offers lucid accounts of contemporary theoretical debates on masculinity in popular cinema, and explores the strategies deployed in popular films to reassert white heterosexual male hegemony through detailed readings of films as diverse as Fight Club, Boys Don't Cry, and The Matrix. Accessible to undergraduates, but also of interest to film scholars, the book makes a distinctive contribution to our understanding of the ways in which popular film helps construct and maintain many unexamined assumptions about masculinity, gender, race, and sexuality.
