For the past few decades there has been raging a kind of subterranean debate, one of monumental importance. It is a debate about the Holocaust - not whether or not it "happened" (this is a meaningless claim), but rather, how it happened, through what means, and to what extent. On the one hand we have the traditional, orthodox view: the six million Jewish casualties, the gas chambers, the cremation ovens and mass graves. On the other hand there is a small, renegade band of writers and researchers who refuse to accept large parts of this story. These revisionists, as they call themselves, present counter-evidence and ask tough questions. Among the issues they raise are these: There is no trace...

A comprehensive, richly illustrated appraisal of the life of this automotive design giant. Few automotive designers have as impressive a resume as Tom Tjaarda. Among automotive enthusiasts, his name is synonymous with the De Tomaso, Ferrari, Fiat, Ford, Innocenti, and Lancia marques, but he also is responsible for the successful workaday Ford Fiesta. Raised in Detroit when the American Dream was beating out its rock 'n' roll rhythm, Tjaarda moved to Europe, where he had a ringside seat at the heart of automotive styling activities in the Mecca of vehicle design, Turin, in its heyday. The lessons he learned there helped make him one of the most influential and important designers of the second half of the twentieth century. Tom Tjaarda: Master of Proportions is a comprehensive, richly illustrated appraisal of the life of this design giant, featuring all his designs, both automotive and in other fields.

This outstanding new first edition hardback book is the story of Tom Dalton - Morgan, a man determined to fly and who achieved his ambition by being accepted for pilot training by the RAF in 1934. He subsequently flew many operations over occupied Europe and was awarded nine British and foreign decorations. He retired from the RAF in 1952, moving to Australia to join the Weapons Research Establishment in Adelaide, eventually becoming a range controller at the Missile Testing Ground, Woomera. He reluctantly retired in 1982 after reaching 65 years of age.

Dalton's Gold

Renowned historian, philosopher and author, Dr Peter Matthews, has illuminated the events of the Eureka Stockade like never before. This book is the culmination of three years research after his Grandfather, Francis Dalton, shared this amazing story just before he passed away in 1995. John Thomas Dalton was swindled out of the find of the century by the very forces sent to protect and uphold the law..... John decided the real story of Eureka would be taken to his grave, until that very day came. With the words 'unknown' listed against the founder of the 'Lady Hotham Nugget' clearly etched into his mind, it was time to spill the beans. This incredible true story of Eureka will rewrite the history books. Much of the events of Eureka are polluted by regular inaccuracies and assumptions. These family secrets reveal what really happened at Eureka, with blood, warts and all.
