Herbert Spaulding Avery was born September 15, 1883 in Plymouth, Mass- achusetts. He married Alma Purtie Anderson September 4, 1909. He died May 18, 1968. This work traces all of his ancestral lines back to the original immigrant ancestor with a few lines extended into Europe. His descendants are also listed. Ancestors and relatives lived in Massachusetts, New York, New Hampshire, Connecticut, Maine, Vermont and elsewhere.
