As prestações materiais aptas a assegurar à pessoa uma vida digna compreendem o mínimo existencial, que diferentemente da dignidade humana, não está previsto expressamente no texto constitucional, mas corrobora os demais dispositivos constitucionais, sendo indispensável a sua observância para a garantia de uma vida condigna.
