Esta edição, à semelhança da anterior (de 2023), abrange o regime jurídico dos direitos de propriedade industrial e da concorrência desleal e inclui ainda um breve apêndice sobre segredos comerciais. Procedemos a atualizações legislativas, jurisprudenciais e doutrinárias. No plano normativo, salientamos: i) a adesão de Portugal, com efeitos desde 18 de janeiro de 2024, ao Ato de Genebra, adotado em 20 de maio de 2015, que alargou às indicações geográficas a proteção internacional existente para as denominações de origem conferida pelo Acordo de Lisboa de 31 de outubro de 1958; ii) a aprovação do Regulamento (UE) no 2023/2411 de 18 de outubro de 2023, relativo a indicações geográficas de produtos artesanais e industriais conferindo-lhes, cumprido o período transitório estipulado, a proteção existente na União Europeia para as indicações geográficas no domínio agrícola.
